Baraga County Holiday Decor Tours   HALLOWEEN outdoor displays must be engaged from 6pm until 9pm from October 21st through October 31st.   CHRISTMAS outdoor displays must be engaged from 6pm until 9pm from December 14th through January 1st.   Share your holiday spirit and passion for decorating by listing your site on the map!  Participate in Halloween, Christmas, or both!  There is no fee to participate and no fee for maps.  Sites listed on the maps will be entered into drawings for Baraga Bucks!

Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry

Silver Creek Church and Silver Creek Thrift are partnering with Feeding America West Michigan to host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry on Thursday, November 14. The distribution of food will begin at 10:00am and continue while supplies last or until 11:30am. Food will be available for approximately 550 families. Due to changes with Feeding America West Michigan, proxy pickup will be limited.. This will be a drive-thru event with directions given by parking lot attendants. The Last Five Years

NMUDoIt, a student theater group established early this year at Northern Michigan University, will present its first full-length production—the musical The Last Five Years—at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Panowski Black Box Theatre. Tickets are free (donations accepted). Written and composed by Drama Desk winner Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years is described as an emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their 20s who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. “It’s a different approach in that the character Cathy is telling her story backwards from the
