Saturday Downtown Marquette Farmer’s Market

Downtown Marquette Farmers Market welcomes the fall season with November Farm Stands and the Thanksgiving Market! Saturday November 2, 9, and 16, the Commons Plaza will host space for farmers to sell their fall produce 10 am – 1 pm. The Market Season will end on November 23 with local farmers and artisans will bring a bounty of fresh produce, holiday goodies, and handcrafted items to an indoor/ outdoor market at the Commons 10 am – 3 pm. St. Ann’s Catholic Church Hunters’ Supper Drive Thru Event will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, serving 4 – 6 p.m.  Pick up on Lyons Street at the Main Entrance.  Dinner includes Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Bean Casserole, Rutabagas, Coleslaw, Pickled Beets, Rolls, and Assorted Deserts.  Tickets are $15 and are available from St. Ann’s Parishioners, the Parish Office in L’Anse (906-524-6424) or in drive thru line on day of event.

Houghton – Houghton-Keweenaw Chapter of MARSP Meeting

Comic Creators 2.0  

 Tuesday November 5, 2024. 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Peter White Public Library Great Room. Youth grades 2-5 welcome to Comic Creators! Attendees will participate in writing, illustrating and publishing their own graphic novel! There will be an option for kids to have their finished works added to the library’s circulating collection. Participants will get together with other graphic novel/comic book fans, talk about favorite books, create stories and make comic based crafts. No admission charge.
