Dollar Bay – Foraging Adventure for Beginners Workshop

The Keweenaw Land Trust (KLT) is hosting a Foraging Adventure for Beginners workshop on August 24th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Steve Farm Nature Area at Lovell Creek in Dollar Bay. Foraging is the practice of searching for wild edible food resources. During this workshop experience you’ll find, identify, learn about and sketch plants that can commonly be foraged around the Keweenaw area. This workshop is suitable for ages 10 and up. Games and Snacks Program.  It’s our sixth year and is directed at students out for the summer as well as adults who use Agassiz Park. We’re there every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 pm to 1 pm starting this Thursday, June 20, until Labor Day. All are welcome to our snacks. We also have games for those who want to play.(board games, soccer, basketball, tennis etc.)
