Christmas Cinema Celebration at the Lake Linden Village Hall is Back!   On Saturday, December 14th, from 4:30 until 6pm, back by popular demand…   SANTA CLAUS!   That’s right!  Santa himself will be on hand to hear what your want for Christmas (he already knows if you’ve been bad or good, for goodness sake!)  Goodie bags for all kids seeing Santa, courtesy of LLVFD.   St 5:30, there will be an outdoor ceremony to light the Lovelight Tree, a remembrance of those who are with us in spirit this Christmas season.   Then, 6:00, showing for one night only….

Home for the Holidays

  Northern Michigan University Theatre and Dance will present a festive new production titled “Home for the Holidays” Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 5-7 and 12-14 in Forest Roberts Theatre. The show is about a group of NMU students who convene to share tales of their diverse family traditions before they journey home for the holidays. It features musical singing and dance numbers—many familiar—with bits of dialogue to tie it all together. “Home can mean a lot of different things to different people, and the holidays are a momentous time for various reasons,” said Karina Johnson, who developed and is directing
