Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Dinner Parties on Thanksgiving Day at 1pm at multiple sites throughout five counties.   They invite people age 60 and older who will be alone on the holiday to attend. Admission is free.   Volunteers are needed to help prepare the meal, package meals, setup the dining hall, serve, cleanup, and celebrate the holiday with their elderly neighbors.   To reserve a seat at the table, please call 906-482-6944. Houghton – Noteworthy Holiday Concert

The women’s barbershop chorus Noteworthy will present its annual holiday concert, “’Tis the Season,” at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 305 Portage St., in Houghton.
