Lake Linden – Annual Spooktember

Come to the Lake Linden Campground for the annual Spooktember costume parade and contest!  This Saturday, Sept. 14th, starting at 6pm, kids of all ages from 1 to 100 (and pets!) in costume can register to participate.  At 7pm the parade will wind around the spooky campground.  Impress the judges with your costume!  Prizes will be awarded in several age groups (including a pet category!) so be creative.  After the parade, Trick-or-Treat at all the campsites while waiting for the winners and even stay for the kids movie in the pavilion at 8pm!

Copper Shores Outreach & Education is pleased to announce a series of free Narcan training sessions aimed at equipping community members with vital skills to respond to opioid overdoses and save lives. Jessica was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer in February of this year.  There will be a basket raffle and the Dog Father will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the family for medical expenses. The benefit will be at the Mikinaak Snack Shack (formally the BP gas station).
