Wilderness Walk Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 3:00 pm Paavola Wetlands Nature Area – Off No. 9 Road in Paavola Location The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting.  Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection.  The walks are appropriate for all ages including families and children. The nature area contains miles of hiking trails suitable for visitors of all accessibility. Everyone is welcome, no religious affiliation is necessary.

Let’s Eat Free Community Meal from 4:00pm to 5:30pm It’s provided and prepared by the Michigan Tech unit of Circle K and served with the help of the Sigma Rho fraternity of Chassell. Additional funding was also provided by DP Construction which is also based in Chassell. Our thanks go out to all of these folks. The menu Circle K is planning is chicken and cheese quesadillas with corn and apples as well as a dessert. Great Lakes Poetry Festival Afterglow Event  Sunday, April 27, 2025, 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.  Rippling River Resort.  Adults, Seniors, Teens.  PWPL closes the 2025 Great Lakes Poetry Festival with this afterglow reading by Gala Malherbe, Ronnie Ferguson, Troy Graham, and two-time U.P.
