Baraga County Holiday Decor Tours   HALLOWEEN outdoor displays must be engaged from 6pm until 9pm from October 21st through October 31st.   CHRISTMAS outdoor displays must be engaged from 6pm until 9pm from December 14th through January 1st.   Share your holiday spirit and passion for decorating by listing your site on the map!  Participate in Halloween, Christmas, or both!  There is no fee to participate and no fee for maps.  Sites listed on the maps will be entered into drawings for Baraga Bucks!

Building Blocks is set to take place on Saturday, November 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alumni Lounge in the Memorial Union Building (MUB) on Michigan Technological University’s campus.  Meditate Marquette Presents: A Year of Mindful Living  

Saturday, November 2, 2024. 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Peter White Public Library, George Shiras III Room.  Four mindfulness meditation and yoga teachers invite you to engage in a year of mindful living.  Each month, one of the teachers will present a topic that addresses the different dimensions where we can practice mindfulness and presence.  The intent is for us to cultivate mindfulness, care, and well-being individually and in our love, business, and social relationships.  These are drop-in sessions, although committing to a full year is a way to build a consistent mindfulness practice. Downtown Marquette Farmers Market welcomes the fall season with November Farm Stands and the Thanksgiving Market!
