Downtown Houghton Hosts the 17th Annual Treat Street on October 17
Downtown Houghton invites families, friends, and Halloween fans of all ages to join us on the 17th for the 17th annual Treat Street. Costumes are encouraged, and trick or treaters can visit participating businesses and organizations up and down Shelden Avenue.
Trick or treating runs from 6 – 8 p.m. and may start anywhere along Shelden Avenue. Businesses will be ready with candy and treats throughout the district. Please note the original time of 4-6 p.m. has been adjusted to 6 p.m. for smoother traffic flow.
We ask that families wait until 6 p.m. to begin trick or treating so all locations have time to prepare. Shelden will not be closed off until close to 6 p.m. Please do not form a line at City Center, there will not be a haunted house this year.
Treat Street continues to be one of downtown Houghton’s most loved fall traditions. We look forward to welcoming the community for a safe and festive evening!
